Through
the efforts of volunteers and generous community participants, fundraising
projects have enabled Friends to fund summer camp tuition
for abused and neglected children. Thanks to donations and fundraising,
hundreds of children have been assisted yearly with financing of
Safety Patrol trips to our nation's Capitol. A college scholarship
program has been established to assist children who have spent
most of their lives in foster care.
The
organization, staffed by volunteers, operates solely on support from
private
contributions and grants. It does not receive federal funding.
There
are always children on waiting lists for specific needs. Friends of Abused
Children, Inc. would like to be able to meet these needs. Your
contributions can help.
